NEW ORLEANS HOTELS. A VISIT TO NEW ORLEANS Farm Girl travels by plane from North Carolina to Atlanta then New Orleans international Airport. She picks up the 2015 Hyundai Sonata (or was it a 2016) without doing much of a car review, then off to the Prytania Park Hotel on Magazine Street.
She visits the French Quarter and old haunts like Napoleon House, The Chart Room, Pat O’brien’s, Johnny White’s and Maspero’s then a walk down Bourbon Street and dinner at Arnaud’s.
Watching street performers, like dancers ,mimes and musicians
Farm Girl dances to AC/DC’s “You shook me all night long” followed by visits Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop then Cake Cafe for breakfast of andouille and crawfish omlette and sandwich.
Climbing live oak trees in Audubon Park a trip across the lake to the Madisonville classic car show, a visit to The Abita Springs Brewery and more.
